Adivce for Indian students studying in South Korea
From the company’s perspective, an Indian student with academic and professional backgrounds in Korea could be considered a qualified candidate. From the candidate’s perspective, Korean companies are likely to offer more competitive compensation packages compared to local companies. It means that both employer and employee are mutually beneficial.

It is hard for international students graduating from Korean universities to enter large companies in Korea. Instead, gaining experience at small/medium-sized companies can be a good alternative.

The hiring position stated above is multi-functional, and small companies often provide opportunities to handle various roles. Surely employers will welcome proactive employees who are willing to take on additional tasks, and in return, you would be ale to broaden perspectives across various functions within the organization.

Most Korean companies are expanding to overseas markets, and India, with its enormous growth potential, is likely to remain a key strategic market. During the early stages of overseas business expansion, companies prefer candidates who can handle diverse support roles.
